Stacey Isaacs presents:

Cheerful Cape Cod in Piedmont!

about this home's

Cheerful and sunny Cape Cod is a 'breath of fresh air' where original charm blends seamlessly with modern upgrades. A welcoming front porch, easy-living single level layout and spacious backyard set the stage for a peaceful home base where you can relax and enjoy all that Piedmont has to offer.

Hardwood floors flow through the entry, living room, and dining room warming the crisp white spaces with delightfully high ceilings.  A lovely arched fireplace and mantle is the focal point of the living room which boasts divided light french doors that open to the spacious deck. Adjacent is the formal dining room with original built-in cabinetry and the upgraded kitchen; sparkling with granite countertops, custom glass front cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and a convenient breakfast bar.  The kitchen opens to a comfortable light-filled family room to keep the home-chef connected during meal prep.

This home boasts three bedrooms and two bathrooms including the primary bedroom suite. Two light-filled bedrooms, each with access to a custom closet, share a newly renovated bath with classic subway tile, sleek console vanity and designer lighting.  The primary bedroom is spacious, bright, and modern with recessed lighting, cathedral ceilings and a wall of windows overlooking the back garden and vistas beyond.  The attached bath has been fully reinvisioned with spa-like glass shower and sparkling fixtures.

Want more space?  Two bonus rooms add the convenience and versatility needed for today’s lifestyle. A lower level flex-space with wall-to-wall storage is perfect for a home office, gym, or hobby room and can be accessed via a spiral staircase from the main bedroom or from an exterior door at the garden. The garage has been converted to a fully finished game-room with space for the whole family to gather. Plenty of off-street parking remains in the driveway.

The wonderful backyard has a something for everyone.  A main level deck is well suited for al fresco dining or enjoying your morning coffee while taking in the rooftop and tree-top vistas of the neighborhood. The expansive brick patio below beckons you to set up the grill and get cooking while the adults relax with a cocktail and the kids play on the lush lawn.  A separate flagstone seating area provides a private and peaceful spot to curl up with a good book.

104 Sunnyside is situated on one of Piedmont’s friendliest streets where you’re just steps from Beach Elementary and the shops & restaurants of Piedmont and Grand Avenue.  Access to 12 years of Piedmont's acclaimed schools and services.

Piedmont, a two-square-mile city within the borders of Oakland, was incorporated in 1907 and was known then as “The City of Millionaires” because there were more millionaires per square mile residing there than in any other U.S. city. Today, their large, estate-like homes are still standing in the heart of Piedmont, reminding residents of its glitzy past.

Homes in Piedmont range from those estate-like homes in central Piedmont with expansive grounds to more modest homes on the edges of town. Well-manicured landscapes prevail and the city’s stringent permitting guidelines ensure all of the homes maintain their original flavor.
The commercial area of town is small, featuring several banks and one gas station. Mulberry’s Market, a specialty food store with ready-made meals, caters to gourmet taste buds and is the frequent morning coffee stop for parents and after-school hot spot for kids. Piedmont’s proximity to Oakland’s many big-city amenities ensures Piedmonters will not miss out on the latest restaurants or first-run movies.

The sense of community is strong, as witnessed by the large turnout for the annual Fourth of July parade that happens each year down Highland Avenue. The Piedmont Recreation Center offers a central gathering place for residents. Available for rental, it is the frequent setting for community events and parties. The beautiful grounds provide a wonderful place to hang out and play, and the wooded trail connecting the Center to the high school is the best place to take your dog to play.

A casual carpool zone on Oakland Avenue, along with proximity to Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) and Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District buses, offer workers convenient commute options.
Pride in community involvement and village living are just a few of the reasons people love to live in Piedmont.
